Monday, July 31st, 2006“It’s been my observation that the Christian single scene is really no different than the world’s; only without the casual sex….i hope. What I really mean is that in the world I see the self-centered interests usually fully and unashamedly unmasked. We Christians just hide our generation’s self-obsession under the mask of piety. Being single to ‘fully devote myself to God’ usually translates into ‘I just want to have fun, play with my toys, and not grow-up until I absolutely have to’.”
*And as an aside to any single women who read this, please note that I hold all of us single Christian men and the Church fully responsible for this sad state of affairs.
