Thanksgiving…

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service….I live in the wealthiest civilization that has ever exsisted. I live in a culture that worships “stuff” and the entertainment of oneself. My prayer today, and throughout this holiday season, is that I remember my greatest treasures, my greatest blessings, are in the things that my money will never will be able to buy. And when all my “gadgets” and “toys” are broken or lost or simply outdated, they will still remain….The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
